Name: Håkan Nilsson

Håkan Nilsson became the 2006 FIA Top Fuel Champion to add up to his earlier successful years in Pro Modifieds were he has FIVE championship titles under his belt. This is pretty much an unbeatable achievement and to our knowledge there isn’t anyone out there that has been champions in the two  classes of Top Fuel and Pro Mod.
After a long consideration this winter Håkan has decide to retire from professional drag racing for now.
The reason is multiple, but health and family issues as well as business commitments made him take this decision for the 2007 season, what’s going to happen in the future isn’t clear yet.
Håkan has an Camaro 10,5” car that is under restoration so there is a possibility that he might hit the local hometrack MECA raceway with that one. His son Henry has a Junior Dragster in the garage so you never know where they show up this summer…
Håkan works hard with two companies and are sharing his life with his wife Michéle and their two sons Henry and Herman. When Håkan is off from racing and work he likes to go around in the south with his old Pontiac or to take care of his properties around his farm house.

Name: Conny Johansson
Born: 1961
Hometown: Kristianstad
Main Tasks:

Conny Johansson’s planes for this season aren’t for sure yet, he might show up at the track with his close friends Thomas and Ola Dahlblom in DD Racing.
He likes to create and build new stuff to make the work on a race car easiar. Conny works as project leader for a company that builds mounting lines to the Industrial scene and lives together with Annette. He has many projects going on with a tricky AC Cobra, V8 boat and a chopper.

Name: Martin Lundkvist
Born: 1982
Hometown: Kristianstad
Main Tasks: Working for Andersen Racing/Carter Motorsport  Diver, Bottom end.

Martin Lundkvist is going to work o on the T/F with Markus 2007. He is hard working, fast learning and is an excellent diver and bottom end guy. He has great skills and is easy to put in to all kind of works. Martin works as a constructor that builds mounting lines to the Industrial scene (together with Conny) and is, most of the time, single. The main interest is cars. He has a street driven Volvo 745 that runs 5,8 sec on the 1/8 mile and works to get his own engine dyno together.

Name: Markus Larsson
Born: 1967
Hometown: Marieholm
Main Tasks: Working for Andersen Racing / Carter Motorsport, Clutch, Rear end, Tires

Markus Larsson is going to stay with the Danes for a year, and help Andy Carter to success 2007 in FIA Top Fuel.
He works on the clutch and takes care of the rear end of the dragster.
Markus has been with the Nilsson team through all their success, and is ready for anything that the future may hold. “Mackan” works as a local manager/foreman and is living together with Marie. On his spare time he takes a cruise with his Caddy -50 Coupe our on his veteran Harley Davidsons.

Name: Ulf Stadig
Born: 1972
Hometown: Falun
Main Tasks:

Ulf Stadig is hard to put on a work list. He doesn’t do much work on the car, but he is the one that organizes the stuff that’s going around the “old Nilssonmotorsports team” to help Håkan out. He takes care of some paper work and fixes some logistics. He mixes fuel with Håkan. You can also see him out on the track with the “Shark”. He also sees that the webmaster gets information for the website and makes updates during the race weekends. Together with Flemming, sambos, wifes he also makes some food for the team. Ulf works as a CNC machine operator on a mechanical workshop. He is living with Carina and on the spare time his interest is golf, Pro Mods and a “pretty fast tuned street bike” that he owns.
